Erin Milteer - School Social Worker
Hello! I have been at Round Hill since 2015 and a Social Worker for 19 years. Prior to Round Hill, my experience has always included working with children and their families: at Inspire Preschool in Newburgh, the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center in Manhattan, and the East New York Family Center in Brooklyn.
At Round Hill, I provide individual and group counseling, classroom-wide lessons, and participate in school-wide programming to promote social-emotional learning. I am here to serve as a support for families and provide resources and connections to community agencies.
David Dominguez - School Psychologist
Hello! My name is David Dominguez and I am very proud to be one of Round Hill Elementary's School Psychologists. I’m here to support your child’s overall well-being and success in school. I work closely with teachers and families to help students understand and manage their emotions, especially when they’re feeling worried, frustrated, or overwhelmed. I teach practical strategies to build confidence, cope with challenges, and express feelings in healthy ways so students can feel more comfortable and ready to learn.
I also help students grow socially and academically by teaching skills like being a good friend and responsible student. My goal is to help every child feel supported, connected, and capable of reaching their full potential. If you ever have questions about your child's social-emotional well being, please feel free to contact me!
Kim Pelfrey - Behavior Analyst
Hello! I am very excited to be joining the Washingtonville Central School District as a Behavior Analyst. I will be providing services district wide, with my primary locations being Round Hill Elementary (Tuesday and Thursday) and Taft Elementary (Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.)
In my role, I will be working closely with teachers, families and students,
using a proactive approach to address challenging behaviors. I bring 10
years of experience in clinic-and home-based services, and I am eager to
transition into a school-based setting. My goal is to apply the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA) to support positive behavior, strengthen collaboration, and help create meaningful outcomes for students. I look forward to working with you all and supporting the district's efforts to help every student thrive.
Genesis Almanzar - School Psychologist
Hello ! I started as a school psychologist at Round Hill Elementary and in the Washingtonville Central School District in 2025. I’m so excited to be part of this wonderful community. Although I'm new to the district I’ve spent many years working with children in different roles—as an early education teacher, an applied behavioral analysis therapist and a strong believer in the power of connection and curiosity.
My philosophy is simple: every child is capable, every feeling matters, and every challenge is an opportunity to grow. I believe in meeting kids where they are and helping them feel seen, heard, and empowered. I can't wait to get to know you and be a part of your child’s journey at Round Hill!
