Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops from Round Hill share appreciation for veterans

Round Hill students who represent local Boy Scout and Girl Scout troops read poems in honor of veterans during morning announcements. Second grader Oliver Carlo read “On Veterans Day” by Joanna Fuchs, and fourth grader Isabel Mendoza read “Veterans Day” by Jessica Hawkins. The school also observed a brief moment of silence and flag ceremony outside the building shortly thereafter.
