Christie Berard, MS CAS - School Psychologist
Welcome to Round Hill! This is my second year as part of team Round Hill. Prior to this, I have worked as a middle school psychologist, as a clinician in a residential program for youth with emotional and behavioral disorders, and with adults with developmental disabilities.
At Round Hill, I have the role of “learning detective.” I work with kids to identify the ways in which they learn best and to help overcome barriers to learning. I provide individual and group counseling, facilitate our building-level response to intervention team, guide our 504 team, and help plan fun building-wide initiatives to highlight wellness needs.

Hello! I have been at Round Hill since 2015 and a Social Worker for almost 18 years. Prior to Round Hill, my experience has always included working with children and their families: at Inspire Preschool in Newburgh, the Elizabeth Seton Pediatric Center in Manhattan, and the East New York Family Center in Brooklyn.
At Round Hill, I provide individual and group counseling, classroom-wide lessons, and participate in school-wide programming to promote social-emotional learning. I am here to serve as a support for families and provide resources and connections to community agencies.

Hello! I am excited for my first year with the Washingtonville Central School District and my second year as a school psychologist. This year I am working at Round Hill and Taft Elementary. I will be at Round Hill on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
At Round Hill, I help identify different ways students learn through evaluations. I provide individual and group counseling to students to help them learn tools to be successful in the classroom. I am excited to be a part of the RTI team and consult with teachers for academic and behavioral concerns.
