Round Hill students plant a promise to a drug free life

All students at Round Hill Elementary School took part in the “Plant a Promise” campaign. Run by the PTA, students planted a daffodil bulb to signify the promise of a drug free life.

Round Hill has been participating in this activity for almost ten years. In the springtime, the school is surrounded by flowers that were planted by students.

“We are planting a promise that we are going to be drug free,” said Eliana Garry, PTA co-vice president. “We want to be healthy and happy, and put good things in our bodies.”

She explained to the students that drugs are bad things that can make people very sick.
