Round Hill Honors its Veterans throughout Veteran Week

Round Hill Elementary School had a full week of Veterans Day activities to thank and honor our vets for their service. 

They had “Red, White and Blue day” and "Thank a Veteran Day” where students wrote letters of gratitude, drew a picture, or composed a poem in honor of our veterans. They also had "Red Poppy Day- Lest We Forget" and "Practice an act of kindness day" in honor of the many sacrifices that Veterans make. 

On November 9th, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Brownies & Girl Scouts raised the flag in honor of our veterans. Samantha Garry and Connor Leiter read beautiful poems.
