Round Hill Elementary School hosts Family Fun Night

Round Hill Elementary School hosts Family Fun Night

Students, families, faculty and staff were able to enjoy the fresh fall weather during the Family Fun Night at Round Hill Elementary School on Friday, September 23, 2022.

The event included a magic show, balloon animals, face painting, food, music and more. More than 300 people were in attendance throughout the evening.

“A lot of parents, students, former students, faculty and staff showed up,” said Kristin Shaw, principal of Round Hill Elementary School. “It was a lovely community event for not only our children, but the entire Round Hill community.”

Ms. Shaw explained how grateful she was to see everyone come together to make sure the event was a success. Many of her past students were in attendance volunteering their time. Students from the high school led the face painting station, while others, like the members of the Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps, hosted games like capture the flag and tag.

This welcome back event was sponsored by the Round Hill Elementary School PTA. The PTA is always looking for new ideas and suggestions from parents as they continuously fundraise throughout the year to host events like this.
