Principal Kiel's Letter to Pre-Kindergarten Families

Dear Pre-Kindergarten Families,

As the first day of Pre-Kindergarten is quickly approaching, we are sure you are excited and a bit nervous about sending your child to school. We are looking forward to meeting your child and beginning your child’s school journey with you.

This year, our Pre-Kindergarten Meet and Greet  will be held over two sessions. One session for morning and one for the afternoon program.

Session 1 - Monday, August 30 from 4:45-5:30 pm
(All morning students)

Session 2 - Tuesday, August 31 from 4:45-5:30 pm
(All afternoon students)

Based on our latest Covid guidelines, this will be an informal Meeting and Greet event. You may arrive at any time during the session. Please plan on staying for only a few minutes. Due to the number of families that will be in attendance, siblings are not permitted to attend. Due to the Kindergarten Orientation which will be beginning at 6:00, we must have everyone leave the school parking lot no later than 5:30.

The purpose of this Meet and Greet is to simply familiarize your child with the classroom and meet the teacher. All information regarding the program will be discussed at our upcoming Open House, which will be September 9th. Details on Open House will follow shortly.

The first day of school for Pre-Kindergarten students is Wednesday, September 1st

Hours for Pre-K are as follows:

AM Pre-K: 8:40 am - 11:10 am

  • Arrival begins at 8:35 am and parents/guardians can drop off until 8:40 am.
  • Students will be marked tardy if they arrive after 8:40 am.
  • Dismissal is at 11:10 am

PM Pre-K: 12:10 pm - 2:40 pm

  • Arrival begins at 12:05 pm and parents/guardians can drop off until 12:10 pm.
  • Students will be marked tardy if they arrive after 12:10 pm.
  • Dismissal is at 2:40 pm

We look forward to meeting you during the Meet and Greet.

Yours truly,
Steve Kiel
